• “In terms of rugby, it has been a very successful season throughout the club, from the minis through to seniors. The 1stXV gained promotion to Scottish National League 2 as champions of National 3. The Howe Crusaders gained promotion to Caledonia Midlands Region 1 as champions of Caledonia Midlands Region 2.”
• “The solar funding project was very successful. The funds were raised entirely from members and benefactors of the club and resulted in the installation of solar panels on the roof of the stand in February. Almost immediately there was a positive impact on the rising electricity costs. This will bring significant savings throughout the year.”
• “During the year finding a facility manager has meant the hiring out of the function suite has not reached it's potential. The incremental income is vital for the club's sustainability. The facility does not operate on regular hours and instead has an unpredictable diary of events and functions. As we enter the end of the season a person has been retained who we believe has the club's hospitality opportunity as their motivation and incentive.”
