- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the trustees' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the charitable company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “2023/24 continued to see excellent results in SQA examinations, far exceeding the national average at all levels.”
- “Very good HMiE inspection report (March 2024).”
- “The restructuring took place over the whole college, during the Autumn 2024 and Spring 2025 terms with a staff consultation committee formed to help the College refine its restructuring proposals. These encompassed staff and overhead savings and efficiencies that have, and will, positively impact financial results going forward.”
- “In July 2024, the College received £200k from a third party organisation whose Trustees have agreed a capital repayment holiday on loan funds. They have also agreed to an additional loan of £1.05m receivable throughout 25/26.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
