“In line with the FRC guidance on going concern, the directors have undertaken an exercise to review the appropriateness of the continued use of the going concern basis and have concluded that it is appropriate. The company has obtained a letter of support from the (indirect) parent company, Motel One Group GmbH, Munich, Germany, with regards to cash needs, including those for the settlement of liabilities, loan payments, payment of tax and other commitments. In assessing the appropriateness of the use of the going concern basis of preparation, the directors have received written confirmation from the parent company that it can and will provide the support necessary to ensure the Company meets its liabilities as they fall due until 31 December 2026.”
