• “In November 2015 the Beinn Ghrideag Wind Farm was fully commissioned and handed over to Point and Sandwick Power Limited, the Trusts wholly owned subsidiary, to operate.”
• “During the year the board took the view that it should take a more proactive role in community development. They viewed the growing tourism industry, particularly from the Cruise Ships visiting the new deep water port in Stornoway, as an opportunity for increasing commercial activity in our area. As a result the charity started planning for the development of a stand-alone tour company that will provide mini bus tours of the Point and Sandwick area.”
