In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the trustees' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the group's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”

• “During the financial year, the Board concluded that continuing to operate Pulteneytown People's Project Enterprises (PPPE) as a separate entity was no longer in the best interests of the charity. All viable community functions, including the Café, were brought back under the direct management of PPP as a Community Café, aligning with the charity's social purpose and enabling access to grant funding, volunteer support, and wider community benefit.”
• “Following the changes to the operations of the Cafe, The Board approved a decision to formally wind up PPPE and removed from the register. The decision was made on 7 October 2025. PPPE had operated as a trading arm of the charity, principally managing the commercial Café and associated hospitality activities within the Pulteney Centre. Despite strong community engagement, the trading model was no longer financially sustainable, and the subsidiary had recorded losses over several consecutive years.”
