Significant events
- “In June 2023, the UK High Court (Virgin Media Limited v NTL Pension Trustees II Limited) ruled that certain historical amendments for contracted out defined benefit schemes were invalid if they were not accompanied by the correct actuarial confirmation. Following a hearing in late June 2024, the UK Court of Appeal issued judgment on 25 July 2024 upholding this ruling. In September 2024, the Court of Appeal's decision was still being considered and its implications were being analysed. The Company and its UK pension scheme trustees are reviewing this development and considering any implications for the UK pension fund.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
