Going concern
Affirmed

“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue. The Directors have prepared these financial statements on a going concern basis. The Directors have prepared financial and cash flow forecasts for a period of 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements which indicate that, taking account of current economic conditions and reasonably plausible downsides on the operations on its supply chain and financial resources, that the Company will have sufficient funds to meet its liabilities as they fall due for that period. The Group manages its short and medium-term cash requirements through a combination of cash balances, available credit facilities and debt financing. The Group's financial forecasts, including the impact of plausible downsides, demonstrate that the Group will be able to operate within its available facilities; including being able to comply with relevant financial covenants at each appropriate test date and to repay facilities in line with the required payment schedule. The Directors therefore believe that the Company is well placed to withstand the challenges presented. There are also a number of mitigating actions that could be taken, if required, to enhance liquid resources and reduce costs. In addition assistance would be made available to the Company by the Group, James Donaldson Group Limited, as required. The Group's liquidity resources and the prudence applied in forecasting means the Directors are confident that the Group and Company will have sufficient funds to continue to meet its liabilities as they fall due for at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements and therefore have prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis.”

Year-on-year

FY2023 → FY2024 · period ending 2024-09-30 vs 2023-09-30

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
