Audit & accounting basis

- Standalone (parent only)
- Auditor
- RSM UK Audit LLP
- Audit opinion
- Unqualified (clean)
- Going concern
- Affirmed
“In auditing the financial statements, we have concluded that the directors' use of the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have performed, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, individually or collectively, may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the financial statements are authorised for issue.”
Significant events
- “The technical recession continued to reflect the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, higher borrowing costs for both businesses and consumers and limited consumer confidence.”
- “Subsequent to the AGM held in January 2024 the Group completed an audit tender process, where the Board appointed RSM UK Audit LLP as Group auditor, replacing KPMG LLP.”
- “The UK general election was held in July of 2024 with the outcome mitigating some of the geopolitical uncertainty faced by the Group over recent times. The early messaging coming from the new Labour Government is really encouraging for our sector.”
- “In August 2024 the Bank of England moved to reduce the Bank Rate by 0.25% to 5%, which was followed by a further cut to 4.75% in November 2024.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
