• “In 2024 the Partnership continued the operation of four 50 MW battery storage facilities at Cowley, Kemsley, Bustleholme and Coventry, as well as a private wire network at Cowley. The Partnership also completed construction and began operating a 50 MW battery storage facility at Sundon.”
• “The construction of four battery storage facilities began during 2023 and is still underway at the year end, with operation anticipated to begin within the next 24 months from the year end. These sites are based at Bramford, Bredbury, Indian Queens and Braintree and total 208.5 MW capacity.”
• “The storage capacity in operation has increased in the year but this has not been reflected in turnover because the new battery storage facility became operational in the final quarter. Revenue has increased due to the two projects that became operational at the end of 2023 incurring a full year of revenue in 2024.”
• “In 2024, the impairment indicators were triggered for two projects - Wymondley battery storage and Sundon private wire projects - because the projects which were in development were not able to progress to construction due to specific external factors meaning the project is no longer feasible for that particular site. The capital expenditure in assets under construction for those projects was impaired at a total of £559,000 (2023: £Nil).”
