- “The principal risks relate to the firm's ability to safeguard client money and assets and successfully arrange private company investment transactions on behalf of its investor network. The performance of the investee companies may affect income from the firm's investment monitoring activity. The LLP is exposed to operational risks, including IT system failure, fraud and human error. The LLP considers it has minimised the above risks by way of a robust IT disaster recovery and contingency plan; appropriate infrastructure; suitable internal controls and segregation of duties. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations is also vital, and senior management is directly involved in maintaining high standards of compliance. Other risks, such as interest rate, credit and liquidity risk are considered to have minimal potential impact.”
