“The members have assessed the partnerships' ability to continue as a going concern. This assessment has included a review of the company's recent trading performance and continued net asset position, as well as any potential future impact of external factors on the business. Based on this assessment and at the time of approving the financial statements, the members have a reasonable expectation that the Limited Liability Partnership has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the period ending 12 months from the date of their approval of these financial statements. Thus, the members continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”

Significant events

• “In December 2023, Aspen Healthcare Limited, the parent company, granted a call option to ICON to purchase all of the interests in the Limited Liability Partnership. The option can be exercised at any time within the next three years to 31 December 2026. Simultaneously, the Limited Liability Partnership agreed to receive a £2.1 million interest-free loan from ICON. The loan was received on 10 January 2024 and subsequent drawdowns will be non-basic and should be accounted for at fair value through statement of comprehensive income. The loan contains conditions relating to the call option issued by AHL at the date of signing these accounts, the option has not been exercised.”
