• “As at its reporting date of 21 March 2025, the LLP's ultimate parent undertaking, Grant Thornton UK LLP ("the Group"), had signed a binding but conditional agreement to take third party investment from Cinven to assist in the delivery of its strategy and its strategic goals. The partners of Grant Thornton UK LLP voted unanimously to accept the investment on 12 December 2024 subject to regulatory approvals. Since that date the required regulatory approvals have been received. The Group is working towards a legal completion date for the investment in mid-April 2025. After completion, all the Group's, and the LLP's, activities will continue but there will be changes to the legal structure. The ultimate parent undertaking of the LLP will become Pacioli Topco (Jersey) Limited which will have a majority shareholding via the Eighth Cinven Fund.”
