- Going concern
- Affirmed
“Based on this, the company is expected to continue to generate profit on its own account and to remain in a positive net asset position for the foreseeable future Additionally, the company participates in the group's centralised treasury arrangements. On this basis, and considering the financial support from a fellow group undertaking, Tanqueray Gordon and Company Limited, the directors have no reason to believe that a material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt about the ability of the company to continue as a going concern and accordingly, have a reasonable expectation that the company will be able to continue in operational existence for a period of at least 12 months from the date of the approval of the financial statements. Thus, they continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the annual financial statements.”
Significant events
- “The company recorded a loss of £995,000 (2024: profit of £660,000) for the financial year which has been transferred to reserves. Equity at the 30 June 2025 amounted to £20,398,000 (2024: £22,053,000).”
- “net assets have decreased by 8% or £1,655,000, from £22,053,000 to £20,398,000, as a result of increase in assets by 20% or £6,490,000, from £31,740,000 to £38,230,000, and increase in fixed assets of 29% from £28,854,000 to £37,191,000, due to a additions, partially offset by decrease in trade and other receivables from £2,307,000 to £418,000. The higher liabilities are driven by the increase in trade and other creditors of £6,536,000, from £5,998,000 to £12,534,000.”
- “During the year ended 30 June 2025, the group introduced advanced analytics to scenario plan volume ranges over a longer time period, allowing better mitigation against changes in the external landscape. Scenario-planning has been embedded into Executive and Board meetings and integrated into the strategic planning cycle.”
- “Given these delays, the expected benefits of the digital transformation programme, which includes the implementation of the SAP S/4 HANA platform, are also now delayed.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
