- Going concern
- Affirmed
“At 30 April 2025, the Company had US$39.9 million of cash on deposit and an undrawn $10 million loan facility available from CNOOC UK Limited. These, along with the future hydrocarbon revenue from producing fields, combine to provide the Company with sufficient financial resources to demonstrate its ability to meet its future obligations and liabilities for the period of at least twelve months after the date these financial statements are signed. The Directors believe that the Company is well placed to manage its business risks successfully despite the current uncertain economic outlook and accordingly, the Company continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual report and accounts.”
Significant events
- “The Company is responding to a claim brought by a Colombian municipal department regarding calculations of royalties on the sale of production from the Guando field. The claim has been ongoing since 2002. Management of the Company, along with their legal advisors, have assessed the possible future outcome, taking into account recent verdicts for similar cases, and determined that the proceedings are not expected to have a material effect on the financial statements and no provision has been recognised.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
