• “On 23 January 2024, the Company surrendered the leasehold rights to the hotel. The hotel management agreement with Marriott was terminated at the same time as the lease surrender.”
• “A surrender premium equivalent to six months business rates of £161,000 was made by the Company in consideration for the surrender of the lease and the entire contents of the property was transferred to the freeholder for a payment of £1.”
• “The external debt and accrued interest was settled prior to the lease surrender and the interest swap was novated to a fellow group undertaking.”
