Going concern
Affirmed

“The financial statements of the Company have been prepared on a going concern basis, which the Director believes to be appropriate for the following reasons. The Director has considered the impact of the adverse economic environment and high inflation to going concern. The Company is fully operational, providing services to customers and generating revenues and there is currently no indication that this will change in the foreseeable future. There is no material impact on suppliers delivering products or customers making orders and as such there have been no adjustments to forecasts or projections as a result. It is our view, to the best of our current knowledge, that the difficult economic environment will not have a material adverse impact on the Company's ability to continue as a going concern. Hitachi Ltd, the ultimate parent company, has provided the company with a formal letter of support. The director has assessed the ability of the ultimate parent company to provide this support through completion of a going concern assessment, including a review of the ultimate parent company's financial position, future operations, and cash flow for the period to 31 December 2026. This assessment indicates that the ultimate parent company will continue to be cash generative and meet its obligations as they fall due for the period to 31 December 2026. The Director of Hitachi Digital Services UK Limited believes that, on the basis of the future business plans, cash flows and a formal letter of support from Hitachi Ltd, he has a reasonable expectation that the company will continue as a going concern for a period to 31 December 2026 which is consistent with the company's going concern assessment. Accordingly, he has adopted the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
