“Trustees have considered the detailed budgets for the next three years for each of the schools and the Trust as a whole. The Trust has identified potential cost pressures from salary and pension contribution increases, the costs associated with running two PFI schools, changes in energy costs and other inflationary pressures. This has also considered the uncertainty of future funding increases for schools. Nonetheless, it is anticipated that the Trust will be able to establish sufficient reserves to continue to operate for the foreseeable future and for this reason will continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
