“The Company's financial statements for the financial year ended 31 March 2025 have been prepared on a going concern basis. The Directors had made an assessment of the Company's ability to continue as a going concern and is satisfied that the Company has the resources to continue in business for the period of at least 12 months from the date these financial statements are signed due to the following reasons: The Company's Balance Sheet shows a net assets of £872,163,343 (2024: £872,197,889) as at 31 March 2025; The Company expects to receive dividends from Northumbrian Water Group Limited and Northumbrian Services Limited; and The Company has sufficient cash to meet its obligations that fall due for a period of not less than twelve months from the date of signing the annual report and financial statements.”
