“The Directors note that as at 31 March 2025, the Company recorded a loss of Shs 34,893,000 (2024: loss of Shs 22,734,000). Notwithstanding this position, the Directors consider it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis. The Directors have assessed the financial performance and position of the Company, together with its forecast cash flows and ongoing commitments. This assessment includes consideration of the continued financial support provided by the shareholders, Safaricom PLC and Vodacom International Holdings (Pty) Limited. The shareholders have confirmed that they will continue to provide financial support to the Company for a period of 12 months from the date of approval of these annual financial statements, to enable the Company to meet its obligations as they fall due. The Company has historically relied on shareholder funding to support its operations, and this support has continued during the year. Having considered the financial position of the shareholders and their demonstrated commitment to the Company, together with the projected funding requirements, the Directors are satisfied that adequate resources will be available to support the Company for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the Directors adopt the going concern basis in preparing these financial statements.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
