“The Directors believe, after due and careful consideration, that the company has sufficient resources to continue in operation and existence for at least one year after the financial statements are authorised for issue and therefore consider it appropriate to adopt the going concern basis in preparing these financial statements. This is based on a review of the income being generated by the investment properties and comparing this to the expenditure which is the interest due on the borrowings which have fixed interest rates. The investment properties are leased with the un-expired portion of the term remaining being between one and seventeen years. The loans that the company is party to are due to mature in the next financial year, discussions regarding renewal has not commenced though the company has been given an assurance by a parent organisation that financial support will be given if required. Taking this letter of support into consideration, and the financial position of the company outlined above, the Directors believe it is appropriate to prepare these statutory accounts on a going concern basis.”
