  Material uncertainty over going concern

  During 2024/25 discussions were started with the DfE to support the Trust due to lower cash reserves. A £480k loan was agreed to support ongoing costs, repayable within 36 months from 1 September 2025. £240k of this loan was drawn down in February 2025, and this balance is outstanding as at 31 August 2025. On 22 October 2025, the DfE South West Advisory Board approved the transfer of all 9 schools within the Trust to two new Trusts, effective within 3-5 months of the date of approval. The existing Trust will be dissolved. As a result, the Trust's activities are expected to cease within the next twelve months and it is no longer considered a going concern. The accounts have been prepared on a basis other than going concern.
