“Given the net current asset position shown on the Company's own Statement of financial position, the financial statements have been prepared under the assumption that operations will continue. If required, the Company can draw down on its swingline facility with Seadrill Rig Holding Company Limited in order to meets its future liabilities as they fall due. The directors have therefore prepared the financial statements on a going concern basis.”

Significant events

• “On 5 March 2023, Seadrill Treasury UK Limited, Seadrill Offshore AS, Seadrill Rig Holding Company Limited and Seadrill Limited (collectively "Seadrill") were served with a claim from SFL Hercules Ltd ("SFL"), filed in the Oslo District Court in Norway, relating to our redelivery of the rig West Hercules to SFL in December 2022. On 6 February 2025, the Oslo District Court delivered a judgement in favour of SFL Hercules Ltd. ordering Seadrill to pay SFL approximately $37 million plus interest and legal costs of approximately $11 million. Seadrill intends to vigorously contest the judgement and filed an appeal on 5 March 2025. The appeal proceedings are scheduled to commence on 7 April 2026.”
