Material uncertainty over going concern
Given the cessation of trading during 2023 the directors concluded in the prior year that the Company was no longer a going concern. At that time it was expected that the liquidation of the Company would occur within 12 months from the date of approval of the accounts. As a result the accounts were prepared on a break up basis. Whilst it is still the intention of the directors to liquidate the Company this may not occur within the next 12 months. Therefore, it is no longer appropriate to prepare the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024 on a break up basis and instead have been prepared on an 'other than going concern' basis.
