“The Tote benefits from its geographic diversity and broad mix of business channels. Economic challenges have remained present, including inflationary cost pressures creating a significant cost of living crisis, higher interest rates, an increasing tax burden and, general economic uncertainty. It is anticipated that this challenging economic environment will continue to cause some uncertainty through 2025. Based on its cash flow forecast and strategic plan for both the Company and the Group, the Board believes that UK Tote Group Limited has sufficient resources to meet its future needs. Sensitivity analysis has been carried out across the Group to provide comfort that sufficient financing headroom is available, and a reverse stress test has also been undertaken. The Group's plans and their sensitivity have taken into consideration the current UK and global economic uncertainty. As such, the Directors have prepared the accounts on a going concern basis.”
