“After making appropriate enquiries, the Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the Academy Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. This is partly due to the size of the Academy Trust's cash reserves, as well as the fact that the majority of the Trust's funding comes from the Department for Education (DfE). This funding is a guaranteed fixed amount for 2025/26, based on student numbers in 2024/25. For this reason, the Trust continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
