Material uncertainty over going concern
We draw attention to note 1.2 to the financial statements, which explains that the trustees intend to begin the process of completing its obligations with the communities with which it works and to phase out activities in its current format. It is envisaged that this will take a number of years and that the Charity will then be wound down and cease to operate. Therefore, the trustees do not consider it to be appropriate to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements. Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a basis other than going concern as described in note 1.2.

Significant events
- “EFI completing its initial scope of work with 18 cities and working with 8 communities on planning strategically for their future, the program has successfully supported communities with skills development, knowledge and resources towards becoming sufficiently sustainable that they can continue without the support of EFI. ... in 2025, the Trustees have decided to begin the process of completing its obligations with the communities with which it works and to phase out activities in its current format. It is envisaged that this will take a number of years and that EFI will then be wound down.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
