“After making appropriate enquiries the Trust Board has a reasonable expectation that the Altus Education Trust has adequate resources to continue to operate in the foreseeable future and is able to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. This assessment has been made through the consideration of student recruitment, lagged learner numbers, cash reserves in the bank and quality of provision, in addition to an assessment of external risks.”

• “In the summer of 2023 Altus entered into a Trust Partnership Agreement with seven local primary schools which have shown an interest in joining the MAT. As of September 2024: One primary school (Caldershaw) has resolved to join the Trust. Four primary schools (Marland Hill, Shawclough, Whittaker Moss, and Hamer) are continuing with the TPA with a view to joining the Trust). Two primary schools (Broadfield, Castleton) have decided not to pursue the TPA, but have informally requested that they maintain the option to rejoin at a later date.”
