“The company has substantial net assets as set out in the balance sheet on page 22. The company holds significant investments in profitable subsidiary companies from which the directors anticipate receiving cash distributions that will at the very least meet any reasonably foreseeable obligations. The directors therefore have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for a period of at least 12 months from the date of signing the financial statements. Thus, the directors have adopted the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
