“After making appropriate enquiries, the board of directors has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, the board of directors continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”

• “At the start of the financial year, the Trust faced significant challenges arising from declining pupil numbers across its schools-a trend consistent with demographic shifts and regional patterns affecting schools across London. This reduction is projected to result in a £2.8 million funding decrease, requiring prompt and decisive action to safeguard the Trust's long-term financial sustainability. With fewer pupils enrolled, existing staffing levels exceeded operational requirements. Failure to realign staffing with pupil numbers would have led to the depletion of reserves within four years, jeopardising the Trust's financial viability. To address this, the Executive Team, with the approval of the Board of Directors, implemented a Cost Reduction and Redundancy Programme across the Multi-Academy Trust and its academies. The programme aimed to achieve a sustainable financial position by reducing staffing in proportion to pupil numbers, while prioritising: Avoidance of compulsory redundancies wherever possible. Preservation of staff morale. Continuity of high-quality education. Following the necessary approvals from His Majesty's Treasury and the Department for Education, the programme was successfully enacted, resulting in the release of 38 employees from their contracts.”
