“After making appropriate enquiries, the Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the Academy Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “Outcomes at Babington Academy are much improved, with a significant uplift in attainment and dramatic improvement in progress.”
- “Intensive work for the current year 11 began at the start of last Academic year. Innovative programmes are now well underway to better engage pupils groups that are making less progress.”
- “Although outcomes at Lancaster Academy are broadly in line with 2024, the cohort had significantly lower prior attainment. There has been a good shift towards FFT50 estimates, with key headlines now broadly in line.”
- “Better progress was made by pupils across all pupil groups, with the exception of white British pupils. This remains a key focus for improvement and a robust program has been underway since the start of year 10.”
- “Pupils who joined Lancaster Academy in year 7 made the best progress, validating the quality of provision at Lancaster Academy.”
- “SEND pupils made much better progress this year. It is pleasing to see the improvements brought about by the Trust SEND lead reflected in the data.”
- “The Academy Trust continues to recognise the importance of developing strong relationships with surrounding Academy Trusts and maintained Schools to strengthen capacity within our Academies and across the wider sector.”
- “In the reporting period September 2024 - August 2025, the Academy Trust has taken several energy efficiency actions, including integrating student-led education (Green Team), undertaking developments in outdoor areas, and upgrading catering facilities.”
- “At its first meeting in 2025/2026, the Board of Trustees confirmed its desire for the Academy Trust to seek growth, with the initial focus being to formalise its existing relationships with several primary Schools in Coventry.”
- “The Academy Trust will also launch a People Strategy during 2026 which will demonstrate how the Academy Trust will attract, develop, engage, and retain its workforce, creating a culture where people thrive.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
