“After making appropriate enquiries, the Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the Academy has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”

• “It has been an extremely challenging year from a financial perspective. Issues in financial management were identified towards the very end of the year which have put the Trust into a difficult position. Much work has subsequently been completed to improve the situation and to amend future budgets to ensure that the Trust breaks even and returns to a healthy surplus position as soon as possible but this will require strict financial scrutiny and a prudent attitude towards expenditure in the short term. We have proactively requested advisory support from the DfE in order to assist us in this endeavour.”
