“At the time of approving the financial statements, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate support to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and not less than 12 months from the approval of the financial statements. In addition, the parent company and controlling party of the group has given assurances of its continued support to the company. Thus the directors continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the financial statements.”

The surrender resulted in a net accounting gain of £110,715 and derecognition of the associated Right-of-Use asset and lease liability.
