“After making appropriate enquiries, the Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future but is very aware that it is facing uncertain times moving forward. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”

Significant events

• “A number of opportunities for growth during 2024-25 have continued. At the beginning of the academic year, the remaining four schools from the Jubilee and Pebblebed Federations joined the Trust after extended discussions with DCC. Subsequently, the Trust chose to concentrate on integrating the East Devon schools, redesigning curriculums, and enhancing leadership structures rather than pursuing further expansion. However, during the year several other schools expressed interest in academisation, leading to discussions that resulted in an agreement to enter a Management Partnership with Woodbury CofE Primary which will commence on 1 September 2025.”
