• “The Company held a 25% interest in Block 10BB in Kenya, operated by Tullow Oil Kenya BV. In May 2023, the TotalEnergies SE group announced that it had submitted withdrawal notices to its joint venture partners on Block 10BB, to unconditionally and irrevocably withdraw from the entirety of the Joint Operating Agreement ('JOA') and Production Sharing Contract ('PSC') for these concessions. The Company concurrently submitted notices to the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, requesting the government's consent to transfer all of its rights and obligations under the PSCs to its remaining JV Party. Consequently, the Company has fully written down in 2023 the fixed asset value with this licence. Government consent to the transfer remained outstanding as at December 31, 2024.”
