- Affirmed
“After making appropriate enquiries, the Board of Directors has a reasonable expectation that the academy has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “As of 31 August 2025, the Trust comprises seventeen schools, which is an increase from the twelve that were part of the Trust 12 months ago. The 17 schools are made up of 16 primary schools and 1 secondary school, including a 6th Form. This represents a significant increase in the size of the Trust.”
- “In 2024-2025, five primary schools joined the Trust. Holy Family Catholic Primary School, Warton, St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School and The Willows Catholic Primary School joined the Trust in November 2024. St. Bernadette's Catholic Primary School, Blackpool and St. Mary's Catholic Primary School, Fleetwood joined the Trust in January 2025.”
- “In the year 2024-2025, four schools had Ofsted inspections. Three schools retained their 'Good' ratings and one school retained their 'Require Improvement' rating. Two schools underwent CSI (Section 48) Diocesan Inspections. Both schools were rated as 'Good' overall, with some outstanding features.”
- “During the year ended 31 August 2025, the Trust inherited a pension asset on conversion of £1,291,000 in respect of the 5 converting schools during the year.”
- “The next academic year will see a continuation of the work to improve standards and deliver an extensive challenging curriculum and best practice in teaching and learning. Across the Trust we will: Develop and implement a broad and ambitious curriculum from EYFS to post-16; Achieve excellence for pupils in all areas; Continue to improve the education of the whole child (John 10:10); Further develop and implement well-being strategies for pupils and staff across the Trust; Further develop a trust-wide understanding of ethos for all stakeholders; Develop the Trust in line with the Diocesan strategy.”
- “The ambition of the Trust to grow aligns with the Diocesan plan of the Bishop of Lancaster. For the Blessed Edward Bamber CMAT (BEBCMAT), the proposed footprint covers 22 schools (17 schools currently in the Trust and 5 other schools across the Wyre and Fylde regions). These schools span two local authorities, Blackpool and Lancashire and will serve approximately 6,500 learners.”
- “Wave 4 of Trust growth will take place in academic year 2025/26 and will see 1 school join the trust in March 2026 (St. John's Catholic Primary, Poulton). A further 2 schools will join the Trust in April 2026 (Our Lady star of the Sea Catholic Primary and St. Peter's Catholic Primary). The final 2 schools will join the Trust towards the end of the conversion process likely to be in 2026/27.”
- “The conversion from the state maintained schools to an academy trust involved the transfer of identifiable assets and liabilities and the operation of the schools for £nil consideration. The substance of the transfer is that of a gift and it has been accounted for on that basis as set out below.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
