“The Company's business activities, together with the factors likely to affect its future development, its financial position, financial risk management objectives, details of its financial instruments and derivative activities, and its exposures to price, credit, liquidity and cash flow risk are described in the Strategic report on pages 1 to 5. The Company has considerable financial resources and net assets together with long-term royalty agreements with other group companies and licensees across different geographic regions. At the balance sheet date, the Company had a net current asset position of $95.8M (2024: $180.5M) consisting of cash or cash equivalents of $103.3M (2024: $156.0M). The Company's profit after tax for the period decreased to $59.5M from $77.1M in the previous period, and generated positive operating cash flows in order to satisfy working capital requirements. The directors reviewed the latest forecast for a period of at least 12 months from the approval of the annual report and financial statements and believe that the Company is well placed to manage its business risks successfully despite the current uncertain economic outlook. Accordingly, the Company continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual report and financial statements.”
