“After making appropriate enquiries, the board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. However, potential staff pay increases alongside a real terms funding decline does give us continued cause for concern and therefore we are monitoring the situation closely.”
