- Affirmed
“Despite increasing cost pressures affecting the whole sector (driven mainly by salary increases for staff) the Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that KET has adequate resources to continue in operational existence. Forecast reserves for the end of 25/26 are within the £100k minimum reserves policy set by the Trustees. For this reason, the trustees continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “One of the Assistant Head Teachers left in December 2024. Two teachers took maternity leave during the course of 2024/25, one being covered in house, and the other permanently replaced by a new member of staff, following their appointment to the vacant position of Assistant Headteacher. A recruitment process at the end of 2024 / 25 saw several new appointments to the teaching team, both permanent and temporary.”
- “One of the School Business Managers left in April 2025, and a new School Business Manager was recruited in May 2025. Two Teaching and Midday Assistants left the team at the end of the academic year.”
- “The following exceptional expenditure occurred at HJS during 2024-2025: £8K investment in WiFi infrastructure in order to meet DfE digital standards; £1K on a new charging trolley for chromebooks; £3K on new laptops, replacing those machines which are not compatible with Windows 11; £4K on room conversion to provide a dedicated sensory room space; £4K on outdoor wooden reading pods”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
