“The principal activity of the company is that of a holding company, holding investments in the WEX Europe Services group trading subsidiaries and the company does not generate positive cash inflows of its own. Consequently the company is reliant on support from the parent company WEX Europe Services Limited to ensure that it is able to meet its liabilities as they fall due. Therefore, the directors have sought and received assurances from WEX Europe Services Limited that it will provide support to the company for a period of at least 12 months from the signing of these financial statements.”

- “On 29 November 2024 the company signed a Share Purchase Agreement ('SPA') to dispose of its wholly owned subsidiary WEX Europe Services AS ('WES Norway'), a company incorporated in Norway. The disposal is expected to complete on 1 September 2025. Following the signing of the SPA, the directors have completed an impairment review of the carrying value of the investment in WES Norway. As a result of this impairment review a charge of €2,947,000 has been recognised.”
