Significant events

• “During November 2025, significant issues were identified with the Academy's heating system that will require replacement in its entirety.”
• “The school has also received CIF funding for replacing the oldest 2 classroom block which took place in October 2023. These classrooms are now complete and in use. The school is working closely with the Local Authority to plan for expansion, due to future bulge in pupil numbers. The work started in July 2024 and was completed in August 2025 which will increase the capacity to 1000.”
• “The school was successful in previous bidding for capital for new windows, external doors, roofs, insulation and LED lighting. The doors, windows, insulation and LED lighting has a significant impact on the school's energy efficiency. The school has been successful in bidding for a new classroom block and new gates, fences and security (CCTV). Increase staffing in premises team to enable more site development work to be completed in-house and subsequently reduce costs significantly. Installation of Solar panels.”
