Material uncertainty over going concern
The Directors have considered the appropriateness of preparing the financial statements on a going concern basis. Following discussions with the Department for Education, it has been formally agreed that all academies currently within the Trust will transfer to other sponsoring trusts during the next academic year. As a result, the Trust will cease to operate and will be wound up once these transfers are complete. Accordingly, the Trustees do not consider it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis. These financial statements have therefore been prepared on a non-going concern basis.
