“After making appropriate enquiries, The Academy Trust Board believes the Academy has sufficient funds to meet its current obligations and has a reasonable expectation that The Academy Trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The Trustees are optimistic that negotiations with the ESFA will ensure that their funding, and timing of funding, will ensure that the schools' liabilities will be settled as and when they fall due.”

• “Since September 2024, The Forest has proudly transitioned to a fully co-educational school from Year 7 upwards. Years 7 and 8 are now oversubscribed by almost 60 students and our student roll has doubled in the past 5 years now standing at 1047 which includes our already thriving co-educational Sixth Form.”
• “The school continues to upgrade the site in many areas and have successfully brought in over £1.2 million in grants with a clear focus on carbon reduction over the next two years. As well as £529,316 of growth funding from the local authority as part of our commitment to support the expanding school population in the area.”
• “Following a successful transition to a co-educational establishment, the school welcomed their first co-ed Year 7 in September 2024. Trustees voted to explore either creating their own multi academy trust or joining an existing trust to secure The Forest's future. These investigations proved useful and Trustees have taken the decision to remain as a Stand Alone Academy for the time being.”
