“The company has one creditor being its parent company Network Rail Infrastructure Limited. The impairment charge in the prior year has resulted in the company being in a net liability position and being unable to repay the loan to its parent company. However, the parent company has extended the loan agreement until 31 March 2027. The company has also received a signed letter of support from Network Rail Infrastructure Limited covering a period of not less than 12 months from the date of signing of the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2025. The directors therefore have a reasonable expectation that the company will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they have adopted the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
