Significant events
- “In the fourth quarter of 2024 the Company began to experience lower demand and market pricing for its products. In February 2025 it became clear that the aluminium market continued to be in a severe depression resulting in the Company having a high inventory position. A decision was made to significantly reduce production levels on the 12th February to reduce the high inventory levels to match continuing lower demand. This resulted in half of the workforce being placed on furlough for a period of 6 weeks. A formal consultation process with employees commenced in late February 2025 to review the potential closure of production at the Rotherham site and to also consider alternative plans. At the end of the consultation process the decision was made to close the production operations in the UK. The continued production in the UK was deemed not financially viable under the continuing current market conditions. 49 employees were made redundant with most employees leaving in April 2025. The plant is in the process of being decommissioned.”
- “Further to the closure of production operations in 2025 an impairment review was undertaken with respect to the assets and liabilities recorded at 31 December 2024. Exceptional costs of £2,149k were recorded in the statement of profit and loss for the year ended 31 December 2024 as a result of the review (Note 4).”
- “The sales of products sourced from other AMG Aluminum group companies is continuing but will in future be transferred to AMG Chrome Limited. The company will subsequently be wound up in an orderly manner.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
