“The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis, which assumes that the charitable company will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The validity of this assumption depends on the continued provision of adequate funding. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that would result if the funds were not made available. After making appropriate enquiries, the board of trustees has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. Further details regarding the adoption of the going concern basis can be found in the Statement of Accounting Policies.”
