“The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis which assumes that the company will be able to continue to trade for the foreseeable future. The company meets its day to day working capital requirements through a combination of its own cash balances and through overdraft facilities that are renewed annually. Management know no reason as to why this overdraft facility will not be renewed. In addition the company has previously been reliant on support provided by its sister subsidiaries, Smithers MSE Limited and Smithers MDT Limited. The company utilises funds from sister subsidiaries through the group's treasury function and when significant cash outflows are required may draw on support from these entities. Letters of support have been provided by these sister subsidiaries confirming their ongoing support for a period of at least 12 months from the date of signing the financial statements.”
