“After making appropriate enquiries, the board of trustees has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. Further details regarding the adoption of the going concern basis can be found in the Statement of Accounting Policies”

Significant events
- “SEND Crisis. The media has continually drawn attention to the crisis currently facing pupils, their parents and staff in schools, caused by the lack of Special School provision, for those with the most severe needs. Staffing in schools has had to be increased at times to support inclusion. However, this increase in staffing which is not being funded, is simply unsustainable for schools and placing undue pressure on already tough financial forecasts. The widespread situation with lacking Local Authority SEND provision is replicated within our North East region.”
- “Staff Supply Costs. In order to maintain adequate staffing in schools to deal with the SEND crisis, additional Supply staff are more regularly necessary. This additional staffing cost is not provided for by current Grant funding and the staffing ratio within schools per pupil is undoubtedly increasing, without schools receiving any funding support to do so.”
- “Cost of living crisis is continuing. Purchasing power of schools is reduced, pressure on already decreasing and tight margins is becoming unmanageable for some schools.”
- “Falling birth rate. All 4 Local Authorities have forecast dramatic reductions in the birth rate, which ultimately impacts initially at our nursery/primary school provision.”
- “Unfunded Pay Rises. Throughout recent years, the trust has not been fully funded for the rise in either teaching or support staff payrises.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
