“After making appropriate enquiries, the board of trustees has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The school has been prudent in financial planning and has spent additional donations on ensuring the school is best equipped to meet the needs of pupils and to ensure onward sustainability. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
