Material uncertainty over going concern
Whilst the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future, since the year end, the trustees have decided to consider transferring the schools within the trust to a larger trust which will likely occur by 1 September 2026. The trustees have made this decision to allow the schools within Grove Learning Trust to have increased central team capacity, ensure greater financial stability, offer enhanced professional development, provide access to wider expertise in curriculum, SEND and school improvement and ultimately enable the trust to have stronger capacity to support pupils and communities in a changing educational landscape. Therefore, the trustees have concluded there is a material uncertainty about the academy trust's ability to continue as a going concern. There has been no impact on the assets and liabilities in these financial statements as a result of this assessment.
