“After making appropriate enquiries, the Board of Trustees has a reasonable expectation that the academy trust has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. For this reason, it continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.”
Significant events
- “Successful SALIX PSDS4 Decarbonisation bid, to ensure the school is more sustainable for years to come”
- “In 2023/24, an initiative to upgrading the lighting to LED lighting throughout the school, which is estimated to reduce the energy bill by £18,662.73 annually, and would pay back the investment in 3.4 years. This project is ongoing and should be completed by August 2025.”
- “Following the building condition survey carried out in 2023/24, with the support of Eddisons, the academy was successful in winning the SALIX Phase 4 public sector decarbonisation scheme grant of £683,976 for the £777k budget to install air source heat pumps, removing the gas fired boilers.”
- “In addition to this, the school has committed to spend £1.2 million to repair the roof, as highlighted in both the Local Authority Building condition survey and the academy commissioned report from Eddisons, but has not been rectified by the local authority, therefore the trustees deemed it necessary to use reserves to rectify the issue, which is a result of poor design and lack of maintenance whilst under the local authority control.”

Each % is (latest − prior) ÷ |prior| for the line item as filed. The comparison is only shown when the latest and prior accounts cover broadly equal-length periods — short or long stubs (typical around incorporation or a year-end change) are suppressed rather than misrepresented. Lines a company doesn't report are omitted. About these numbers
